I can't believe Avery is 19 months. She is talking, talking and talking a lot! Depending on the brand she can wear 6-12 month, 18 month top, 12 month bottoms. Size 4 shoe, which has been in this size forever. She has recently started saying her name, which sounds like Abey. So when asked what is your name, she points to herself and says, Abey. She can point out the letter A. She also started when I ask her where Daddy is, she says, at work or wheres is Lainey, at home. As I am blogging I am listening to her play with her baby in her kitchen and she is cracking me up Here are some of the things she is saying. So those are a few of the things.

Catching Up!

I have so much catching up to do I have decided to not try and catch up, that would be way to much. I will begin with our Sea World trip. On July 12 we headed to Sea World with the Kirklands. The ride there and back was not bad at all. Avery did great! She watched a movie the first 2 hours, then we stopped to eat and then napped the rest of the way there. She did the same thing on the way home. The hotel we stayed at was right across the highway from Sea World and very kid friendly. We were there for about an hour and half before Avery fell asleep. So went back to hotel for everyone to rest and then headed back to Sea World that afternoon. We back to look at the dolphins since Avery missed it because she fell asleep, then we headed to the water park. The girls loved it and had so much fun. After a while at the water park the girls started to get bored so we headed to watch Shamoo and the Sea Otter Shows. Avery loved Shamoo!!! When he would go under the water she said, "Mommy, where he go?" Wednesday we headed home,we had a great time and look forward to our next family trip.

Of course I can't believe Avey Grace is 15 months old! She had her 15 month old check up the other day and she is in the 10 percentile. Dr. Raine says she is long and skinny! He was very impressed with her vocabulary, he said she is talking like an 18 month old. She said to him pointing at the computer, "what's that" he was very impressed! She is 20 lbs and 31 inches long.

She is such a busy yet laid back child. She plays good by herself, loves her babies and books. She has started to really takin an interest in ther babies. She carries a couple around with her and puts them in the stroller. She gives them lots of hugs and kisses. She takes a blanket and covers them up and every now and then she will bring me the baby to hold, but just for a second because she wants it back! She loves to dance and has started dancing when you ask her to.

16 months, she is repeating just about everything. She can count 1, 2, 3 and then says go! Says red, blue, green, please, thank you, no, mine, Clint, Papa, and duck (and quack quack). We ask her to sing and she will say laaaaa, laaaa. She has 14 teeth and one on the way. She has really started to enjoy fruit, this took awhile. I thought she would nevedr like it. She will pretty much eat anything. I haven't found anytihng she doesn't like. That's all I can think of off the top of my head and I have to make good use of time while little bit is sleeping. Off to finish laundry.

ZOO

Over Spring Break we went to the Fort Worth Zoo with the Kirkland's. Avery had a great time! What came out of her mouth the whole time was of course, "What's that?" "Oooo Wow" and everything was "Kitty". It was so fun to watch her face whens he saw the animals. It was the best trip ever to the zoo seeing everything through her eyes! It was a beautiful day!

Avery is the funniest child. I pretty much laugh at her all day. She has really developed a little independent attitude which is so funny and she repeats a lot of what we say. Yesterday I said, "bobo" and pointed to her bobo and she then said "bobo" and pointed to her bobo. When she takes a bath she puts her face in the water and blows bubbles and thinks it is so funny. She loves to read her books and pretend she is talking on the phone. She is doing so many new things, it seems like everyday she does something new. What she is saying these days, Mama, Dada, Mimi, kitty, cookie, baba, go, bye-bye, hi, baby,bobo, ball, uh oh, no, Caylie (her cousin), Papa, juice, and what's that. That's all I can think of right now.

I still have some catching up to do for Feb. hopefully can get that done this weekend.

Great Grandmother, she keeps Avery M-W. We are so thankful for her. Avery loves gets so excited in the morning when we pull up in the morning and when I come pick her up she says hi and may or may not give me a hug and kiss. She really could care less that I am there she has so much fun at Grandmother and Grandad's house.

New Years, Yes I am so Behind!

I had actually done these last two blogs awhile ago and forgot that I had done them. I will be adding pics tomorrow of her bday party finally. I have said so many times I am so not good at blogging.

For New Years Eve we stayed at home and hung out with Mimi, Aunti, Mia and Kathy. Daddy went to bed at 9:00 because he had to be at work at 5 am. We watched Dick Clark's Rockin NYE Party and played Cranium. Avery stayed up until about 10:30, she was so tired but did not want to miss anything. She would go, go, go if I let her.

The week before Avery's birthday party she got really sick. She was really congested, runny nose and bad cough. This was the first time she had a high fever and was really sick. She has had an ear infection before and pink eye but she acted totally fine. Her fever got up to 103 and I could not get it down past 101. So Tuesday my Mom took her to the doctor because I was working and could not get off that early. She ended up having another ear infection, which the doctor said it could have ruptured. She got some antibiotics and pain meds for her ear. I thoguht for sure things would start looking better by Wed. afternoon after two doeses of anitibiotics but Josh's Grandmother called and said her fever was still high. So I took a half day to go pick her up. She looked so pitiful! Wednesday was the worst she had looked and acted. Finally by Thursday night she started acting more like herself. We were thinking we would have to reschedule her birthday party.

TEETH, she know has 5 teethe and another on the way.

Avery's Birthday

On Avery's acutal birthday 12/26 we took her to McDonald's to have her first Happy Meal and to play on the playground. She loved her french fries not to sure about the nuggets and she sucked through a straw for the first time. Finally!!!! We took her to play on the playground and she had a blast. My Mom and Josh's Mom ( KK) came along too. My Mom took Avery through the tunnels and down the big slide, she cam down with a big smile on her face. Next KK took her to go down the slide again. She was upset when we picked her up to leave.

We had her birthday party on Jan. 9. Which we were not sure would happen because Avery got really sick Sunday. She was sick all week her temp got up to 103.2 and never got below 101. Along with the fever was a bad cough and stuffy/runny nose. Thank the Lord for Grea-Grandmother who kept her for me because I had to work all week. A teacher was out all week so I was hard to get a sub for a sub. I finally called the doctor and Mom took her in on Tuesday. She had another ear infection. The doctor said it was close to rupturing. I took a half day on Wed. and stayed home with her that afternoon. Daddy was off work on Thursday thankfully, so they snuggled all day. She was so pitiful. Finally after being on anibiotics and having drops for the pain in her ears her temp went down Thursday night. So the party was on!!! Almost everyone showed up and she had a blast. Everything turned out great!!!! Josh and his Mom decorated the garage and Mama and I took care of food and the inside.

Parade of Lights

A few weeks before Christmas we took Avery to look at the Parade of Lights in Grand Prairie. She really enjoyed them at first but towards the end she was over them and tired. It is something we will proabably do again but she will enjoy more when she is older.

Christmas Eve Josh's Mom and brother came over to exchange gifts then we went to my parent's house to have Christmas with my Mom's parents, and her brother's family. Avery had a good time playing with her cousin Brynlee, they are at the age where they can play with each other and it is so cute. She loved opening up her presents. She was really good at it! After everyone left we had Christmas with my parent's. I'm pretty sure Avery got every toy in her age range.

Christmas morning Avery woke up at her usual time 7:30, she was so cute when she walked into the living room and saw her Barbie 4-wheeler Santa got her and her stocking. She said, "oooo Wow wow". After opening our presents we got ready and went back over to my parent's house to have breakfast. We had to be over at my Uncle Glenn and Aunt Susan's house at 1:00 so Avery took a nap and we relaxed. Avery had a blast playing with all her cousins 7 out of the 9 were there and 5 of those were girls. Then we headed over to Josh's Grandparent's house to open presents. Finally we made it to our last stop at his Dad's house around 6:00 pm to have dinner and open presents.

When we finally made it home, we thought for sure Avery would fall asleep in the car but we were so wrong. She had taken a really late nap on the way to Josh's Dads so she was full of energy. So we decided to put together her play house and rearrange her room so all her new toys would fit.

Avery's first Christmas was great she for sure she is set on toys for a good while. Especially with her birthday to follow! This Christmas was great being able to see everything through her eyes. I think I almost cried a few times. Another amazing part was that we actually had snow on Christmas.

Avery's 1st Christmas

It's been awhile since I have done a blog. We have been having issues with our computer, so we finally got a laptop. YAY!!!

Avery is learning new things it seems like everyday. We ask her, "How big is Avery?" and as she lifts her arms above her head we say, "soooooo big" She loves to turn the T.V off and on. We are working on learning "NO". She likes to go into her room and we say, "where is Avery?", she runs out of her room and looks around the corner. She has figured out how to turn the dishwasher on. Oh and loves to dance around when she hears music. Words she is saying; Mama, Dada, hi, bye bye, baby, what's that and ki (kitty). She has cut her first top tooth last week. She loves to look at her books and she babbles and babbles like she is reading. It is the funniest thing she is so serious!

Oh and poor baby has pink eye in both eyes and ear infections in both ears. You would never know she is sick though, she is still a happy little girl.

I'm going to try to do a better job at blogging.

This past weekend my Mom and I took Avey to a pumpkin patch in Arlington for a little photo shoot. I was a little chilly so we did not stay long but Avery had a good time. This weekend Josh and I are going to take Avery to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. I hope the weather is nice because Josh will not be off agian for another two weeks.

Avery is 9 months I can't believe it! She is standing on her own now, we are pretty sure she will be walking by Halloween. She is talks/babbles all the time, she has started to point, and she laughs all the time. We have also realized she is going to be a climber. Tonight she climb onto the fireplace and then got down by herself. She did it like she had done it a 100 times. She loves to open the cabinet in the kitchen and take all the plastic bowls and lids out. She has the best time!!! She is doing so good at bedtime, we did the cry it out thing for about a week and a half. Now when it's time for bed we have a bottle (sometimes), read a book and then I lay her down and she goes to sleep. No crying!!!!! Oh and she has 2 teeth. Okay thats enough blogging for now. I will post pics later!

Busy Girl!

I can't believe Avery is already 8 months old. She is a very happy and busy baby. She has been crawling for 2 months now and gets into everything. She is very busy but is a good baby. Her new favorite thing to do is look out the windows in the kitchen. She has learned how to scream and thinks it is so funny. About a month ago she learned to clap so she claps at herself all the time. She has the funniest personality! She has recently started standing for a couple seconds by herself and then falls to her bottom. She loves to listen to music and watch Noggin. She found the toilet paper the other day and unrolled about half of it.

I will try to be better at this bogging stuff.

The other day at my parents house during bath time we gave Avery a posicle. She really did not know what to think about it. I was really surprised, I have not found anything she doesn't like and she just really was not interested in it at all.

It's Been Awhile

I'm not so good at keeping up with this whole blog thing but I'm working on it. Here are some of her 6 months pictures and some of the things she has been doing lately. She is keeping me really busy. Her new thing now is waving and making this silly face. She cracks me up she is a really funny child and always smiling, laughing and clapping at herself. Now when she hears the bath water running she crawls in there and sits in the floor and looks at me like I'm ready for my bath. She loves her bouncy thing we put in the door way I think she could bounce in it for hours. I love it to because it keeps her in one place. It's the only thing I can put her in and she stays happy. The excersaucer she really doesn't care for anymore. If she not in her bouncy thing than she is all over the place getting into everything she can get her little hands on. We have started to baby proof the house starting with the outlets. Next will be the cabinets. I can't believe she will be 7 months on Sunday, it has gone by so fast!

Look What I Can Do!

Avery started crawling the day she turned 6 months and sitting up on her own without having to hold herself up. A few days later I went to get her up from her nap and she had pulled herself up. She was so cute, she was smiling and laughing like, look what I did Mom. It is crazy how she went from barley sitting up to crawling, sitting up, and pulling up in about a 1 week 1/2 time frame. She is a very busy girl. She is into everything she can get her hands on, but refuses to sit she wants to stand. Her new thing she learned to Patty-Cake and she claps all the time. I have been trying to teach her Patty-Cake but Sunday we were at my parents house and my Mom got her to do it.

Now our big thing we are working on is going to bed. I know and can tell she is so tired but she refuses to go to bed. She fights and fights it. Up until about 2 weeks ago she would go to bed between 7:30-8:00, now she wants to stay up or go to bed then wake up an hour or 2 later. So we will see what happens in the next few weeks, we are trying to be tough!

Unfortunatley Josh had to work 4th of July weekend. Avery and I had a good time though. Friday night we went to the highlands with Mimi (my Mom), y cousins Matt, Whitney and their daughter Brynlee to watch the fireworks. Avery loved them she watched them in ah. It was way past her bedtime but she did not miss a thing. We hadn't even made it back to the care and she was already alseep.

Saturday we went over to my Aunt and Uncles house to swim, the whole Crimming's clan was there. She loves the water, I really haven't found anything that she doesn't like. Except lately sleep!!! That's a whole other blog! That evening Josh got home at 9:00 and we watched fireworks from our driveway. Hopefully next year he will be off work!

6 Months

I can't believe she is already 6 months. We went to the doctor yesterday for her 6 month checke up and she weighs 13lbs 14 oz and is 26 in. long. she is a petite little thing. We are still having an issue with her spitting up and she decided that she was going to show the doctor. Her spitting up most of the time isn't that bad but yesterday it was pretty bad. It was all over her the table and me. She almost got the doctor. So he finally prescribe her something. Thank the Lord! Se did good on her shots she cried for just a minute then she was back to her happy self.

She makes us laugh everyday! She loves to jump in her jumper and her excersaucer. She is already very busy, she crawled two days ago trying to catch the cat. Last night she had pulled her self up to her knees in her crib, she is sitting up on her own, loves to look a her books and I haven't found a food she doesn't like. She is very vocal, laughing, screaming (good scream), she babbles on and on. She is such a laid back, happy baby. Everybody alwasy ask me, does she every cry or get up set? She really doesn't, she has started to throw little fits but that only when you aren't feeding her quick enough.

Avery's Schedule
Wakes Up-7:30, she eats cereal with fruit and a bottle 6 oz.
Nap-anytime between 9:00ish

Up-10:30 or 11:00

Lunch-11:30, cereal with veggies and bottle

Nap-2:00

Up-3:30, has a bottle

Dinner-6:00, veggies and fruit
Bath-7:00

Bottle-7:30

Bedtime-anytime betweeen 7:30-8:30

The last time I went to Six Flags I think I was in elementary school and refused to ride any rides because I was terrified! So Wednesday evening Josh and I decided to go and I decided that I was going to ride every ride. I started off on the Texas Giant and Titan. I pretty sure I kept my eyes closed half the time and my chin was stuck to my chest. My favorite one of all was Batman.

Sunday my Mom/Mimi got Avery a pool. We had dinner at their house so I had to set it up asap to see what Avery Grace thought. Not a surprise at all she loved it! The next day Lainy Bug came over to our house to check out Avery's pool.

Josh is on vacation all this week, so we are trying to find things to do to get out of the house. Today we meet Josh's Mom at H3 in the stockyards. It was delish! Avery was such a good girl it was her second time to the stockyards but first time to actually walk around/be pushed around.

After talking to Mrs. Kirkland this weekend she convinced me to try this blogging thing. She told me about this website that you can go to, that makes a book of your blogs you did for the year. I thought it would be great to have to look back on, especially for Avery. So here I go we will see how I do.
